About Coorg

Coorg, nicknamed as the Scotland of India and it is an astonishing land in the heart of the southern Indian peninsula. This unspoilt “country of million hills” is located in the slopes of the Western Ghats in south-western Karnataka. The land’s enticing landscape, dense forests covered with early morning dew, coffee plantations on steep slopes, green-brown small-big peaks makes it a rich heritage destination.

The place is prominent for its vivid sceneries of nature which makes it a constant companion for those choosing to travel Coorg. Fondly referred to as the “Coffee Cup Of India”, some of the world’s best coffee is grown here along with other cash crops such as cardamom and black pepper.

Coorg with the lowest elevation at (2,900 ft) at sea level has an average temperature of 20 degree Celsius ranging from 15 to 25 degree Celsius, making it an ideal destination for tourism.
